We are long overdue for a new Battleground game. The franchise, which saw a new entry yearly up until the release of Battleground 5 back in 2022, has been quiet for the past three years. The only discussion around surrounding Die's commencement-person shooter franchise has been rumors of a new championship that would harken back to Battlefield iv and its systems.
