How To Get Sound Notifications On Oracle Service Cloud
Configuring Notifications in Oracle Integration Gen2
In this mail, I am attempting to listing the steps to configure Email notifications in Oracle Integration Cloud Gen2. I tried to provide as many images every bit possible to make it cocky-descriptive.
Official Oracle Documentation https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/integration-cloud/user-processes/configure-application-settings.html#GUID-C0807233-D0A8-42AD-86DA-D16EA2989F1A
The first step to gear up the Email Notification is to configure the notifications infrastructure.
Login to your OCI Console and navigate to your OIC instance's Configure Services page
Left Navigation Bill of fare → My Tasks → Assistants → Services → Infrastructure
The configuration is set to "None" by default. Select "E-mail" from the driblet downwards and provide the "From" email accost. Click "Annals" and then click "Relieve" to salve the settings.
Please ignore "From e-mail address already bachelor" dialog box and click "Ok". Click "Ok" on the confirmation message.
To test the notifications Navigate to My Tasks → Assistants → Notification Logs → "Exam Notification" button
Enter the e-mail address and sample field of study and content. Click "Send" , you should run across the confirmation of message sent. You tin can also view all the notifications in the page, by checking the box "Prove Sent Notifications"
Further to above, please make certain the SPF and DKIM configurations are made
Oracle Documentation — https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/integration-cloud/oracle-integration-oci/configure-email-hallmark-settings-spf-and-dkim.html#GUID-EA2A2697-D7CF-4E71-B7E4-796DE6D1195E
- Sender Policy Framework (SPF) lets domain owners place servers they have canonical to send emails on behalf of their domain. In Oracle Integration'southward example, domain owners need to approve OCI equally an approve sender and to add a record for it in their domain.
- DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) authenticates emails through a pair of cryptographic keys: a public key published in a Domain Name Organization TXT tape, and a private key encrypted in a signature affixed to outgoing messages. The keys are generated by the email service provider.
- Configure SPF (Sender Policy Framework).
Add an SPF tape to the domain of the from
address to include the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure electronic mail delivery domain.
Use the format below for the SPF tape. The SPF record must place the continent key of the Oracle Integration instance, as shown in the examples below.
v=spf1 include:<continentkey>.oracleemaildelivery.com ~all
In before Oracle Integration instances, sender verification was supported past calculation the standard record include:spf_c.oraclecloud.com
to the domain of the from
address.
ii. Configure DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Post).
To configure DKIM keys for Oracle Integration Generation 2 instances, please log a Service Request in My Oracle Support. Include the following details:
- selector name
- fundamental size
-
from
address that will be used to send emails
Oracle provides yous with the details to add together the CNAME DNS record for your domain. The instructions to add together the DNS tape depend on your domain provider. The CNAME contains the location of the public key.
For example, for a selector proper name of me-yyz-20200502
, a sending domain of mail.example.com
, and an electronic mail region code of yyz
, the CNAME looks like this:
me-yyz-20200502._domainkey.mail.case.com IN CNAME me-yyz-20200502.mail.instance.com.dkim.yyz1.oracleemaildelivery.com
In one case the DNS is updated, update the service request, and Oracle volition actuate the DKIM settings for your domain.
